Entertainment

Now for the entertainment on the ship (man I’m drawing this cruise thing out . . . it was only a week). Most of the entertainment for my family was drinking and being obnoxious but there were fantastic shows and performers onboard. I did not take any photos of the comedy shows mainly because I was crying I was laughing so hard most of the time.

Let me set this picture up. I realize it’s not a great photo. We got to the show just in time to see the end. I’m not even sure what’s going on. It was a musical medley of the 60s and 70s I believe. I just know they all had the same outfit on (each a different color) and after watching it for 5 minutes I decided I was way too young to enjoy it and was really happy when it was over. But I only went to 2 shows that week so I feel like I need to include it.

Piano Bar: He was fantastic and quite funny. FYI the hair is a wig for the “80s hair band” song he was playing at the time.

Variety Show: That dude could juggle! He was also great at improv.

Activities – Slides and Chess: So there was a whole water park, ping pong tables, a miniature golf course, a foosball table, a ropes course, and basketball court also but when we played golf and foosball my camera died. You would think as a photographer I would know better. Apparently on vacation I forget simple things like making sure the GoPro is charged for the evening festivities. But to my credit that was the only time I forgot to charge it.

I love my GoPro. And I love this angle.

Towel Animals

It was a cruise. The first photos I have to share are of the towel animals. It’s always fun to come back to your stateroom at the end of the night to find a new friend made out of the fresh towels. Not only were they great in our room but the display on the Lido deck one morning was pretty fantastic.

     

He was definitely my favorite.

Back to reality

I’m back from our 6 day cruise to the Caribbean. It was so amazing! I was not the only one that didn’t want to rejoin the real world… My phone didn’t turn back on until we were half way home. I still don’t understand how the battery was drained when it was off the entire time and stored in the safe but whatever.

I got some great pictures and video with both my Nikon and GoPro so I will be sharing those for a while. I will never stop raving about my GoPro. It is too freaking awesome!! I gave it to my cousin Philip to take down the slide with him (I suck at selfies) on the ship the last day. I did a little editing and here’s the final video. Enjoy.
